“Jersey Lilly”, Lillie Langtry was voluptuous..

… with full luxurious hair, perfect skin, eyes that could mesmerize, and said to be personable.  Born 1852 (died 1929 at age of 77 years), her full figure (which kept getting bigger from the early 1880’s to the 1910’s) set the ideal for every woman.

The 1880’s was a time of “breaking out” for women worldwide, and especially in America and Europe where Lillie was beloved.  The woman of the next 3 decades was like her: strong, powerful, and literally and figuratively – BIG.
