“The Buffalo Gals” performed for a “not even standing room left” crowd at the Cody Public Library yesterday, June 9, 2018. It was a great audience and a lovely facility. Thank you Friends of the Library for hosting!
One of the special things about these shows is that we meet people like us who have a passion for history. It’s a friendly and comfortable environment (even in long corsets on a hot day).
When you look at our country during the years we depict (1765-1910) in the show, it is a story of Americans who worked hard, created and innovated, and fought for what they believed was right and good to build a world for themselves that will last.
The Gals feel a bond with women of the past. Some of us had tough times leading up to the show, but we supported each other just like women have for centuries.
We are all now a part of that history.
(Buffalo (smart) Gals plus Bitty & Rose (dummies) posed after the show. We’ll post individual shots and outtakes on the website and here through the next week. Gotta get to ironing and washing now to get ready for what’s next!)(Below: Jacinta set up the room wearing only her (gasp) undergarments!)
