“Why were women so TINY??”

Designer, seamstress, historian, director, and business leader of Silhouettes, Suzi is also a Buffalo Gal, out on the hoof interpreting and performing.  She depicts older, larger women of history – not the fashion plates, but the REAL women.

The challenge is in fitting everyone at the same time with either custom authentic build, or authentic items.  We’ve found though, that the authentic don’t hold up as well on the streets as when stored in a museum, so the real stuff will be saved for fashion shows and instructional performances, while reproductions will be used out and about.

Always looking for regional women to be a part of the group, you can interview by contacting Suzi directly, but she’ll probably have her phone turned off.  She turns it off when sewing, which is pretty much all day and all night…
