… though these are really the family of Napoleon 1st’s wife Josephine’s children, he adopted her son Eugene. We have been following Eugene’s line: Eugene married Augusta Amalia of Bavaria – they had 7 children.
Eugene & Augusta’s 7 children had many children who then intermarried royalty throughout Europe.. and their children had more children who intermarried royalty throughout Europe.
In other words, Napoleon conquered pretty much all of Europe well after his death.
