  3. Prince Wilhelm Friedrich Ludwig, later Wilhelm I, married Princess Augusta of Saxe-Weimer-Eisenach
  4. Princess Friederike Luise Charlotte (known as Charlotte) Wilhelmine married Tsar Nicholas I of Russia, her children included Alexander II of Russia
  5. daughter died as child
  6. Prince Friedrich Karl (known as Karl) Alexander married Marie of Saxe Weimar-Eisenach
  7. Princess Friederike Wilhelmine Alexandrine (called Alexandrine) Marie Helene married Paul Friederich, the Grand Duk of Mecklenburg-Schwerin
  8. son died of diphtheria as a child
  9. Princess Luise Auguste Wilhelmine Amalie married Frederick of the Netherlands
  10. Prince Friederich Heinrich Albrecht (called Albrecht) married Marianne of the Netherlands and later Rosalie von Rauch

(Portrait: daughter Luise August Wilhelmine, Luise’s namesake and cause for much historical confusion due to names and appearances.  You can tell she’s the next generation though, because she’s wearing early Victorian and there is no trace of her mother’s Regency style.)
