Beatrice, daughter of Queen Victoria, and her daughter, Ena..

… were both hemophiliacs, a rare disease affecting the ability of blood to clot.  This was a genetic trait handed down on Victoria’s side, and one of the reasons the Queen was hesitant to permit her daughter to marry.

In the end, it would be Ena who was most doted upon by all, and connected Royal blood between France, England, and Russia.
