.. 2nd wife. She was extremely popular, known as “Catherine the Great”, she was the Queen of Westphalia. (Jerome was the youngest brother of Napoleon 1st).
(Feature portrait: Note in this early picture of her, possibly about 1805, she is wearing the simple Regency “little white dress”, trimmed with most likely ermine (sable?). Coming from a chilly climate, that makes sense.)
