.. sometimes fell a little short of the ideal that was presented by Pre-Raphaelite paintings. The result of “natural and beautiful forms” sometimes resulted in frizzy hair, poor draping, or strange accessorizing. You have to give them credit for trying as they believed every woman was beautiful and sensuous if stripped away all the artifices of fashion. Unfortunately, not every woman could look like a Waterhouse painting in her “natural” form.
