… was one of the factors causing early Victorian to become the mid Victorian era. It was the influence of high fashion of “La Belle Epoque” in Paris that influecned women worldwide. Worth was THE key designer in the 1850’s and 1860’s.
Born in Bourne, Lincolnshire, England on October 13, 1825, Charles’ first jobs were working with London textile merchants. He decided he had a lot more to give than that, so moved to Paris, the center of the fashion world, in 1845.
