History Loves the Gals!

A very special show was performed for residents of the Cody Longterm Care Facility and the public last Saturday.  We’ll post a full gallery plus pictures of the joy on everyone’s faces – soooo many fabulous portraits!  Here are a couple favorites.

(Feature photo: We have a running movie with period music that plays on the side with photos of actual people and places, plus pictures of The Gals in their undergarments since we don’t have time to strip down during a show.  Sometimes the Gals interact with those friends from the past.. appropriate as we approach Halloween, isn’t it?)

Kateri interpreted Shelly’s character from 1790
Sary introduced the new 1856 “Lumber Camp Cook” ensemble. Note she DOES look like a doll and that you can’t tell if she has feet – flawless interpretation.
New friends left to right Grace, Sary, Holley (Grace’s mom), and Carol.
Mary and her 1887 Chugwater Wyoming Homesteader interpretation took us downstairs to meet the real cooks at the facility and we found a Gal At Heart who might join us!! A great day to be sure.
Suzi, the Narrator’s hat kept falling off and WHERE ARE HER GLOVES? No respectable woman of 1883 would narrate a show without gloves…
